Cable Mount

Specifications

Cable mounts are a tough, heavy-duty approach to mounting, and are especially appropriate in shock-mounting situations. By allowing large displacements, cable mounts increase shock time, thereby reducing force and protecting the equipment.

Cable mounts are a tough, heavy-duty approach to mounting, and are especially appropriate in shock-mounting situations. If sudden high-impact is possible, and shock absorption is more important than precision alignment, cable mounts can take a lot of force efficiently.

Cable mounts are often used in mounting of critical equipment, such as control panels and electronics cabinets. In typical running scenarios, these mounts will protect sensitive equipment from vibration or provide isolation to reduce structure-borne noise. In the case of a shock event, the high displacement allowance will increase shock time and reduce the force on the mounted equipment.
