Easy on your feet. Easy on your ears.

One of the simplest solutions to unwanted noise. And one of the easiest to install.

It’s just like installing a carpet – just use this special material under your carpet. You’ll cut down noise and still have a resilient feel underfoot.

Easy to install, this noise reducing product can be added at nearly any stage of a project. It’s most often used for living areas in boats and for architectural applications.

Don’t underplay the importance of underlay.

This material can dramatically reduce noises traveling from floor to floor, in a boat, building, office or home. It’s one of the most common transmission paths for sound – vibration travelling through a floor or ceiling. And you can easily and affordably block some of that noise.

Anyplace where the flooring is a significant source of noise, carpet underlayment is an effective treatment. It consists of a layer of foam (bottom) supporting a vinyl acoustic barrier. This decoupled mass is available in various weights and thicknesses, so you can choose the most effective without compromising too much headroom. It can be used to augment almost any other noise reduction treatment, both structureborne and airborne.
