Hanging Fixed Points

Hanging Fixed Points are vibration isolation mounts for exhaust piping. These mounts are designed to support the pipe from above while isolating vibrational energy in the exhaust system and preventing it from entering the vessel's structure.

Hanging Fixed Points are vibration isolation mounts for exhaust pipes. These mounts are designed to support the pipe while isolating vibrational energy in the exhaust system and preventing it from entering the vessel's structure.

Hanging Fixed points are used as a component of an Exhaust Stack Isolation system. This system also includes other styles of exhaust mounts, flexible stainless bellows, fire- and water-tight penetrations, and rain caps.

The most common areas of use for Hanging Fixed Points are:

  • The exhaust elbow immediately after the engine.
  • Where piping changes direction in a horizontal run.

See our section on Exhaust Stack Isolation for details.

These diagrams show the inner workings of our most popular hanging fixed point fasteners.
